Beth(kristen bell),who works for an arts agency finds herself hard to fall in love as she was dump by an old boyfriend who proclaims that she was a workaholic.Since then,beth hardly finds a suitable guy to be dating with.
On her sister's impromptu wedding with an italiano which she met 2 weeks earlier,Beth met the best man,nick(josh duhamel),she automatically fell in love.Later,she found out that Nick made out with some red-dressed italian chick and completely felt stupid.she got drunk and went into the fountain of love.She picked up a few 'love' coins.According to legend,if a person picks coins in the fountain,the owners will crave for their love towards her.Poof,!!magic happens.
Back in New York,4 guys tried to seduce her so that she would fall in love.Nick then tries to take her just like the other 4 guys but Beth thought that nick was the same ,so she left him.Legend again said that if the coins are returned directly to the owners,the spell will be broken.Beth returned the coins and infact,all the 4 guys helped her to reach the exhibition where she bumped into Nick,the coin than had no effect on nick and he expressed his feelings towards Beth.Beth was glad that no mishap happened as she expected.Beth accepted Nick's love.
In rome,both of them got married but one of the 4 guys(the magician as easy to refer),gave back one last chip which he accidentally misplace,beth then thought that this is the part where she had to cancel the wedding just to find out that nick's love was sincere and the spell actually worked on the priest.haha:0
